1. Agreement To These Terms

By using this website, by using our online booking system, or by renting a trailer from Faithful Dawn Trailer Rentals LLC in Smithville, Tennessee, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website or book a rental.

These terms apply to every visitor, every booking, and every rental made with Faithful Dawn Trailer Rentals, however the booking was made. They sit alongside the rental agreement you sign at booking. Where a term here and a term in your signed rental agreement differ, the signed rental agreement controls that rental.

2. Rental Eligibility

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information at the time of booking, including your name, your contact information, and details about the vehicle you will use to tow the trailer. Faithful Dawn Trailer Rentals may decline or cancel a booking if the information provided appears inaccurate, incomplete, or fraudulent.

Every unit on our lot is under 10,000 pounds and needs a truck sized tow vehicle. Most modern 1/4 ton trucks are capable of towing around 10,000 pounds, and you have to factor in the weight of your load aside from the weight of the trailer. Confirm the towing capacity of your vehicle before you book, and call or text us if you want help matching a trailer to your truck. We can help you figure out exactly what you can tow when booking.

Identification, licensing and any other eligibility requirements are set out in the rental agreement you sign at booking. Please confirm the current terms there before you reserve.

3. Booking, Rates And Payment

Trailer rentals are booked through the live calendar on this website. The pricing shown to you at the time you complete a booking is the pricing that applies to that rental. Availability is not guaranteed until a booking has been confirmed.

We offer 1 day, multi day and multi week bookings. The longer you book, the more discount you get. Rentals are charged based on rental time, not mileage.

Payment timing, any deposit, and the handling of refunds are covered in the rental agreement you sign at booking. Please confirm the current terms there.

4. Pickup And Delivery

Pickup is at our lot at 1304 Willis McGinnis Rd, Smithville, TN 37166, where all trailers are stored in secure facilities. Pickup is available any time between 5:30 AM and 9:00 PM. Call or text to arrange pickup and drop off, and we will confirm your window before your rental starts.

We do deliver. If you are within 50 miles of us, we will gladly bring you your unit. Call for a delivery quote before you book if you would like the trailer brought to you rather than picking it up.

You agree to return the trailer to the agreed location at the agreed time, or to be present at the agreed location for a scheduled delivery pickup. If your plans change, call or text us as early as you can so we can adjust the schedule.

5. Renter Responsibilities

Once a trailer leaves our lot, or is delivered to you, you are responsible for it for the entire rental period. That includes:

Towing the trailer with a vehicle and hitch that are appropriately rated for that trailer and for your load.
Coupling, chaining, and connecting the lights correctly, and checking them before every trip.
Securing your load and operating the trailer lawfully and safely, at safe speeds and in compliance with applicable traffic laws.
Keeping the trailer in your possession and control, and not subletting, loaning, or assigning it to anyone else.
Returning the trailer on time and in the same condition you received it, along with any equipment supplied with it, such as the straps, the spare tire and the tool box.

Before you tow, please confirm that your vehicle, your hitch, and your insurance are adequate for the specific trailer you have booked.

6. Cancellations And Changes

You can cancel or modify your reservation up to 24 hours before your scheduled pick-up time without any additional fees. Please contact us by phone or text as soon as you know, so we can update the schedule and keep the trailer available for other renters.

For changes requested inside that 24 hour window, and for the full cancellation policy, please confirm the current terms in the rental agreement at booking or call us at (629) 302-5444.

7. Insurance

Yes, you need insurance. Your automobile insurance should cover anything you tow. You would need to confirm with them before taking delivery.

It is your responsibility, not ours, to verify with your insurer that your policy covers the specific trailer you have booked and the load you intend to carry, and that the coverage is in force for the whole rental period. Faithful Dawn Trailer Rentals does not provide insurance coverage for renters.

8. Damage, Loss And Theft

You are responsible for the trailer while it is in your possession. That covers the trailer itself, the tires and lights, and any equipment supplied with the rental, including the straps, the spare tire and the tool box, whether the damage, loss, or theft happens on the road, at a job site, or wherever the trailer is parked during the rental period.

How a specific damage claim is assessed and settled, and how any resulting charge is handled, are covered by the rental agreement you sign at booking. Please confirm the current terms there.

9. Commercial Use And Out Of State Towing

Our trailers can be used for commercial purposes. If you are hauling for a business, a job site, or a paying customer, you do not need a different rental product or a separate agreement with us, though your own commercial insurance and any licensing your work requires are still your responsibility.

You can also tow out of state. We charge based on rental time, not mileage, so there is no per mile charge and no state line to worry about. Return the trailer on the agreed date, and confirm before you leave that your insurance covers you for the states you will be towing through.

Everything in Section 5 about safe, lawful operation applies the same way on a commercial job and on a long haul as it does on a Saturday move.

10. Liability

Faithful Dawn Trailer Rentals LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the rental or use of a trailer, including lost time, lost profits, or costs relating to a delayed or interrupted job or move. As the renter, you assume responsibility for the lawful and safe operation of the trailer while it is in your possession, including securing your load and towing at safe speeds in compliance with applicable traffic laws.

You agree to hold Faithful Dawn Trailer Rentals harmless from claims arising out of your use of the trailer during the rental period, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms is intended to limit any right or protection that applicable law does not allow to be limited.

11. Website Use

The content on this website, including text, photographs, and the layout of the site, belongs to Faithful Dawn Trailer Rentals LLC or is used with permission. You may not copy, republish, or use it for another business without written permission.

We work to keep trailer descriptions, specifications, availability, and rates accurate, but the site may contain errors or omissions, and availability changes as bookings come in. What is confirmed to you at booking is what governs your rental. Our handling of information you submit through this site is described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms, from this website, or from a trailer rental with Faithful Dawn Trailer Rentals LLC will be brought in the state or federal courts serving DeKalb County, Tennessee, and you agree to that venue.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms stay in force.
